Hi guys, CD safely arrived on Feb. 3rd here in France, thank you! Congratulations to the band for such a great record, you can feel the musicianship throughout the whole album. 14 min. for track number 2 is great and I have to go deeper into this very song now (only one listening as yet). I also like the title track very much. Overall, great melodies and lyrics. To anyone reading these lines, I highly recommend this CD!
Now waiting for some gigs and opus #2! Cheers, Nick.

This record just get better and better the more you listen to it. Not only is the production tight and an abundance of talent across every instrument, but the lyrics, the journey and pace of the album is incredible. I feel privileged to have discovered this band so early on! Bring on the tours and future albums. Congrats DBL

dBL have revived the art of musicianship in its truest sense, seducing you with an album long experimental message therapy and using instruments which have been long forgotten to popular music.
The delicate blow of a tenor sax overlaying the clattering of ivories and the howls of a Stradivarius demanded my immediate and unfettered attention. Like a rhyme to a child or a lady of easy virtue to a drunken man, Fingers Pointing at the Moon ensnared me from the moment the needle hit the vinyl. This is not an album; this is the most opulent musical creation to land on Earth since Roger Waters gave us The Wall. Staring out over the fields, laid back with a glass of wine, listening to this album takes me on a journey where I question everything and right by my side I feel dBL steering the ship and leading the way.
The fingers may have been pointing at the moon but by the Christ they overshot and went stellar.

came across these guys in Cornwall when they played a live gig of the album in Penzance. I bought the album at the gig and have been listening to it ever since. If you like great british rock bands like Pink Floyd you are going to love this album. They don’t copy them – the feeling you get when you listen to them is like Floyd – like the world of sound is bigger inside their record – Mortalman is a true british classic and with Robert Wyatt’s trumpet part it’s open heart surgery for the listener. I can’t wait to hear more from them and its great to be on board when they are still relatively unknown – they will be massive. Nicola, Hampshire.
